Gasoline Spillage

Hi,

I was working on the weedeater and bumped it over on the garage floor spilling a small bit of gas/oil mixture. How do I safely clean it up - and get rid of the smell?

Deodorizing Cat litter works wonders. put it down 1/2 inch thick and let it sit for half a day....then sweep it up and put another layer down for a half day...then sweep er up again.
