Blue Boy Holly has Berries

I have research holly bushes and found you need one of the same kind and a male and female to get berries. I just bought one today(blue boy) to pollinate the 2 blue girls I already have. The thing I don't understand is the label on the pot and the tag on the bush say Blue Boy but I see some green berries on it and everything I read said males don't get berries.
Could someone please help me out on this. THANKS!!! Vinny

One of two things -- either your Blue Boy was incorrectly labeled OR the 'berries' aren't berries -- they're flower buds. The male pollinator must have something (blossoms) which will provide pollen to pollenate the Blue Girl flowers in order to produce fruit (berries). So, you just might have to wait a bit and see if the Blue Boy berries turn into some type of blossom. Good Luck!
