Toshiba Satellite L30 - how to adjust "standby" mode?

Hi guys,

I have been trying to adjust my laptop's stand-by times, as it is preset to 30 minutes. I would need at least 2 hours. This is because of my MSN messenger and Yahoo Messenger that will get offline as the laptop enters stand-by mode. And sometimes there's some files being transferred and it all gets cut off.

The thing is, I tried virtually everything and when it comes to clicking on "Apply" or Ok" it says "Please open TOSHIBA Power Saver in the control panel or click TOSHIBA Power Saver icon on the task bar, if you want to setup the Power Options Properties". I follow the whole path, but still no joy there. Is there anybody who could tell me how to fix this, please? Thanks a bunch.

Tony
