how do i reboot a ibm laptop if i dont have a recovery disc? i need help thankyou

Can you clarify your question. Rebooting never requires a Recovery disk.

You don't need the recovery disc for a reinstall, but you WILL need a Windows disc to rebuild the operating system at least.
Many computer manufactures will sell you the required recovery disc for your system.

depends on the brand as some have a hidden recovery partition for this purpose.
