    Keyboard typing odd things
    When I type the following keys, they type two letters at once, please help. It takes so long to type!

    U - iu
    I - ui
    K - kj
    J - jk
    M - ,m
    , - m,
    8 - 87
    7 - 78

    Hmmm, it could possibly be that your keyboard is going out; or it could be that some keys are sticking being that they are right next to each other. You could give it a good cleaning and if that doesn't work I would say just go buy a cheap 10 dollar keyboard.

    Well, those 8 keys all lie along the same 2 columns that are next to each other on a qwerty keyboard.

    Have you tried lifting the keys up (Don't try this on a laptop!)? What type of keyboard are you using (laptop? Desktop?)? How old is it?

    Thanks for the swift responses, it is a laptop that it nearly three years old - Dell Latitude. We can't decide if someone has managed to lock some keys or if the keyboard is on the way out.

    It sounds like the keyboard is giving up the ghost.
