i just dropped it and it's cracked

My laptop just fell, and the disk thing opened and kinda broke in half. my dads gonna be mad when he see's it. and should i still try to close it? or should i leave it open?
i can use the computer but i'm afriad if i push it back in, i wont be able to
help asap

i snapped it back together but it will barely stay because its still cracked in half. could i glue it?

Leave it out -- maybe it can be repaired before retracting it -- if you retract it maybe

more damage will be done... Be careful -- glue it -- Hope this helps

too late. but he was talking today about taking it in because its too slow.

if it works now will it work if i turn it back on later?
because i kinda closed it. but it wont open. it made a weird sound at first for a second
