HP Pavillion dv6000

I did't realize my computer didn't come with a restore disk! Well once I realized I needed to make one my computer crashed! Does anyone know how I can maybe download a new restore disk? I have a HP Pavillion dv6000 it had windows Vista on it. I bought it in Feb 2008! Thank you so much for reading this

If you do a full system recovery on the laptop, it will give you the option again to create the recovery discs.

Go to recovery console, select destructive recovery, set to out of box state.

This will reformat the laptop, reinstall all the original software, and will be just as it was the day you opened it. Be sure to run all Windows and HP updates after you recover it as they will all need to be updated.

Then you can create the recover disc's.
