How to reboot an acer aspire 5000

Hi all just wondered what keys I need to use to reboot an acer aspire 5000 to factory settings as I haven't a disk .

I assume you mean rebuild or reinstall the operating system.
Now some brands have a hidden part of the hard drive the contains the recovery image.
Normally this is accessed by pressing F11 while booting your machine.

Worth a try.

I have an ACER ASPIRE 5100, and the keyboard all of a sudden is acting strange. The "j" types a "1", the "k" types a "2", the "m" a "0", but 90 percent of the other keys type fine. I have not spilt anyhing on it or dropped, outside of cleaning it with a slightly damp paper towel. Don't know...
