Disabling mouse of laptop

How can I disable the function of the mouse of my laptop. I only want to use an external mouse?

Depends what make and model computer you have. On many Dells you can install a utility that allows you to select the touchpad functionnality when a PS2 mouse is present..

I Have A Sony Laptop And I don't Have The Icon On My Laptop To Just Enable It.
