Connecting PlayStation to a laptop for video output

I have a stupid question.....is there any way to use a laptop screen as output for a playstation? My knee-jerk reaction when asked this was NO because I can't see how you would connect the Component cables from the playstation into the laptop....

Anyways, I know the answer is No, but if someone could verify that it would provide closure for the guy.

Thanks.
