cd drive

my toshiba laptop cd-drive can not run to install the cd .when i put the cd in my dvd rom and try to install it . but is nothing show on the screen . IT suppose to show on the screen right away . i'm new to this ....

I'm not very familiar with toshiba, but the problem seems to be that the auto-run feature is disabled or not available either on the CD or your laptop... better ask someone who is experienced at Toshiba...

Reboot with the CD in the drive and see if that runs it.
