6 Answers Hi! So I've decided to get "independent" in sanskrit as my next tattoo. I looked into it on this Sanskrit Dictionary site and I've found the following:
अनाश्रित
स्वतन्त्र
अनायत्त
निरालम्ब
Since it's going to be on my body FOREVER I really want to find the correct spelling of it. please and thank you! Thread Summary |

| | | Hi, ashleysmiless!
Since it's to be permanent, I would strongly suggest that you get more than one opinion as to the translation.
Also, what do you mean by the word, "independent", please? Depending on the meaning, that could make a difference as to how it's translated.
Thanks! | | | | Senior Member | |

Hello!
I am planning to get a tattoo symbolizing balance in yoga spirituality and practice. I can't find the calligraphy for effort and surrender though.
Can anyone help me write "Abhyasa" and "Vairagya" in sanskrit calligraphy? I could use "Surya" and "Chandra" if not.
Thank you so...
