Understanding how to write Shanti in Sanskrit

I am confused about how to write shanti in Sanskrit.

Is it शान्ति

Or

Is it शांतिः

Any help would be so appreciated, I have been struggling with understanding this for a long time.

Thank you and peace be to all,
Golden

All mean the same. The word without the visarga i.e. ":" is the root word & the other is its form when it is used in a sentence. Both mean peace.
