Part of the problem ("problem" refers to Time choosing You as the "Person of the Year", according to my understanding) is institutional. The issue was written entirely by regular Time staffers and contributors who seem to have great difficulty understanding this strange new media man--especially the part about his hatred of condescension.


What does "this strange new media man" refer to? Does it refer to Time? Does "his hatred" refer to "this new media man's hatred"?
