Essay on symbolism

Hey...I need help to make a thesis statement of an essay i'm writing....it's on the symbolism in the movie Dead Poet's society(movie)....I'm actually writing mostly about settings and characters depicted in the movie...like they symbolize freedom, religious things etc....also, if anyone can find an essay for me online which is based on th symbolism in the dead poet's society... tell me the website....i will be really thankful to you...

You might want to watch Mona Lisa Smile too to help give you more of a deeper sense of the movie because it has basically the same theme.
To me it was a message break from tradition with no real answers to breaking from tradition.
It sounds good but who really follows through?
Just like the hippie movement in the 60's where are they now? In their cozy CEO careers
making money and following the status quo.
