Are you saying the wiring in your house consists of 4 wires, which are white, green, orange, and black? What country are you in? For the US I would expect that you have either red/green/yellow/black (all solid colors) or one pair that is white-blue and a second white-orange.

I have seen phones jacks wired with thermostat wiring. Doesn't sound like phone wires.
Keep same colors as on jacks. reidentify as red/green/yellow/black.
red and green are line 1, yellow and black is line 2.
I would convert your wires:
white to yellow
green to stay green
orange will be red
black will stay black.
connecting category rated wiring will be:
white/blue to green +
blue/white to red -
white/orange black +
and orange/white to yellow -.

Alex Perry seems to Forget to say where he is from, Ebaines asked, and he still wont answer, but easily find time to leave a negative. How the frik was I suppose to know your address?.
