Advantage and Disadvantage in joining a labor union?

Hello.. just want to gather info. regarding unions? If someone join a union, is it possible that it would be hard for him to apply to other company?

As far as being able to join another company, that would depend on the particular industry and whether or not, the other company required workers to be in the same union.

I've already open some forums regarding the pros and cons of becoming a member of a union but still i am not satisfied. I will try to visit the site you recommend..
