Mature Apprentice

Hi every1 im wondering if any of you could help me. I am interested in gas or air conditioning engineering. I bascially attended university but have struggled to get a job in what i studied. I now wish i had taken on an apprenticeship when i left school.

Does any1 know wehre or who i could contact for a possibility of being trained up in the trade. I am very keen to start a career in atrade but as yet have had no success.The problem is getting a comapny to tka eme on and train me.

Any company names etc would be very helpfull.
