Many will, depending on what the felony was, how long ago it was, are they off probation and more.

But today also the problem, there are many out of work drivers, so you compete against others with no records

Often start looking at smaller local or regional companies that pay less

You will have to investigate the different companies. Are you looking local or over the road? Would you be an owner operator or company driver? Do you have any past experience with driving? Would you be interested in team driving? Often you will be required to have a minimum amount of driving experience.

As Fr_Chuck said, some will depending on what the felony was and how long ago it occurred. Many will require that it not be in the last several years.

I got the cdl handbook from the dps,studied for all the test rented an automatic and passed the driving test so I have my class a cdl,I have only driven 5 spd dumptrucks and double axle bob tails.so I have no class a experience,I also am on probation for 18 more mo. On 3 yr. for 2 class a misd.asslt on a family member, enhanced to a felony between me and my father .so no experience and misd. Asslts enhanced to fel. What do I do?
