How do I create a babysitting ad?

Hi, my name is Rachel.
I was just wondering if someone could give me a sample ad, or give me an idea on how to make a babysitting ad that I could put up in the neighbourhood. Thank you!

You can add your qualifications (how many years you've been babysitting, how many different kids you've babysat for, etc.), favorite hobbies/activities, any school clubs you are in, any certifications you have. Things that will give the person reading the ad a good idea on your personality and how qualified you are.

If someone contacts you for a job, it would also be a good idea to give them phone numbers of people you have babysat for, as references, so they can hear from other people what kind of a person you are

when I was younger I made little business cards with my phone number and rates on the back and my name and credentials on the front...CPR certified, etc.

Good and helpful answers above.

I would suggest the following, although not perfect, at least it is a start. It is just to give you an idea of how an ad might be worded.

Baby Sitting Service Available

Caring, compassionate, responsible and available during hours to fit your needs.

Rates (Your choice. Per week, days hours or whatever.)

Please call (your first and maybe your last name) at 555-1212.

Address: (your address)

References provided upon request.

Then you have the little pull-off tabs with your name and phone number on them.

You also might like to consider advertising on the Internet. It works great for the businesses that I have. I have listed many sites where you can list for free on the following link: http://www.askmehelpdesk.com/music/m...tml#post471334

I suggest on the bottom of the ad that there are little slips that people can grab while walking by it. I"ll try to explain it better: if you cut the bottom of the piece of paper about an inch or so; just enough space to write the important details like name, phone number... There will probably be about ten slips on the bottom of the paper and if someone looks at your ad, it is easier for them to take the little piece of paper with the details already on it.

This response might be way too late but I found a website that will do all that for you, you can even print out flyers pre-formatted with your information on them. Might be worth checking out.

I went to the website, but I couldn't figure out how to make the flyer without signing up. Signing up isn't free, so if anyone can help me, that'd be much appreciated.
