Finding a job when moving to new area.

My husband and I are planning to move about 4hrs away. I've never left my hometown before... !!

I need some advice on finding a job in the new area and how to get it.

I am searching jobs online (and they're plentiful there!). Do I need to go ahead and apply?
If so, what if they call me for an interview? How do I do that when I live so far away? I would hate to schedule an interview and take a day to make that drive and then not get the job. I definitely want to have a job lined up before I move...I don't want to move without having a job!!!!

Please advise me on what needs to be done before I make this move and how to go about doing it.........

Thanks!!!!

I would schedule the interview, and then explain your situation and request a phone interview first, and if they are interested in a second in-person interview, I think it would be worth the drive.
