I'm a US citizen looking to move to Germany, Austria, Switzerland, or possibly The Netherlands, France, Belgium, or Holland if the situation is right.

My wife if a German citizen and is qualified to teach at a German grammar schools or most International schools. I work in the environmental field and have a background in a very specialized and seemingly not highly sought after profession in Europe (hydrogeology, environmental water management, sustainability, and soon international environmental management).

I'm working on getting an advanced degree in international environmental management to help me with my aspirations (masters degree at major US University that I can now finish online because I'm more than half way done), but I'm willing to take a lower level entry job to get me over there sooner rather than later so I can actually learn German (or language of country specified) in that country. My knowledge of German is basic, and although I can order food, ask directions, and have a basic conversation over weather or soccer in face to face situations - I'm far from being fluent.

Any advice?
