Felon with HazMat wants Trucking Job

I have a felony that is six years old and I want to get into OTR Trucking. The idea that I can't because of not being able to get a HazMat does not apply. I recieved my HazMat in June of this year and have a class b cdl.
Any good ideas wherer I can go to actually get an OTR Trucking job?

did you try j b hunt, or schneider, or swift. go to your local truck stop and pick up some of the free books outside in the information stand. i drove a truck some time ago. Let Me Make It Clear I DO NOT HAVE ANY RECORD! just trying to help someone here. inside the booklets are applications, and website addresses. you can go to one and put in your info. such as where you want to run, experience etc. i think it is truckjobs.com or truckingjobs.com

And of course if you stop by any truck stop there are normally books and posters and lists of places hiring, just start with one A and go to Z sending out 100's of resumes and 100's of phone calls.

JB will hire me since they go back just three years on a felony but they also demand three months OTR experience before they will hire. I can't find anyone to give me the three months experience. Swift wants seven years on a felony before they will hire felons.

Fr_Chuck,
Thank you for your answer sir and I fell blessed just by receiving your reply. I am a practicing Christian and admit I have made mistakes. Were this is truly a nation guided by Christian principles we wouldn't have the many social problems we face. My father was an ordained Baptist Minister but I believe what Christ said and don't follow Religions made by men. All Religions have their failings because they are ordained by men and women.
I am praying that God will speak to the heart of one of HIS and open the door to an OTR opportunity. If it doesn't happen it won't be HIS failing, " God Never Fails".
God Bless You
