You might have to look in another state versus just Ohio. There is not much freight coming out of Ohio lately as opposed to several years ago. Schneider closed a terminal in Seville in Nov of this year due to changes in freight activity in this area. You'll just have to keep calling and speaking to the recruiters at different companies. Some companies can't hire you due to their insurance carrier's strict rules about felons. If your driving ability and your CDL are good and clean, you'll have a better chance. Just keep plugging away. If you have no chargeable accidents on your CDL you will rate a second look.
