push in the right direction

I'm 16, I've left school and had a rubbish job working at Mc Donalds and also have a part time job (one 3 hour shift a week). Now I've left Mc Donalds without finding another full time job and I'm screwed! I have rent to pay my parents and all they do is tell me I'm a retard and that I should of stayed at school! I can't do this I feel like jumping off a damn bridge.....I don't know what to do anymore. I've applied for several jobs but because I'm so young it hasn't made things easy. Should I go back to my old job? Or continue trying to find another one? I realise this is really pathetic but I need help and I can't ask my parents and I don't have any one else to turn to....literaly coming to a website to ask complete strangers for advice

Thanks
Bambi

Bambi do u have any special skills or talents? Is there anything u like doing or would feel happy doing? u might start from there...
whatever u do don't give up and do not jump off anything lol! When you are in a mess u cannot think straight. But when you find a solution like u will surely do and look back at this you will realize how much u had blown things out of proportion.

You could also temporarily go back to ur previous job although u don't like it just to pay off any debts u currently have and until u figure out what to do next.

Can you move back in with ur parents? If you go back to school or would want to study something else or take special courses would they back u up and pay for tuition etc..?

Bambi, this is not the end of the world sweetie. I have been right where you are SOOOO many times, except you are young, and thats expected from teenagers. Don't give up, there are plenty of jobs out there for teenagers...check the local grocery store, any other stores, and have you ever tried waitressing?? Don't put yourself down. People make mistakes and are not perfect, by far. Just try and learn from your mistakes and try to do things differently if you're ever put in this place again. Do you believe in GOD? Do you pray? If not, I hope I don't offend you. If so, please pray. Believe me, prayer works. God will lead you in the right direction and things will happen right when they're meant to be. Good luck to ya, and keep looking!!!!

Have you considered going back to school ?

You see what the rest of your life will most likely be without a high school education, washing trucks at the truck stop, pumping gas at a station, changing oil in a quick change. And there is of course the people who clean the parking lots at night.

If you ever want a better job you have to finigh high school
