Old Jewelry Markings

I have a ring from my great great mother she died in the early 1930's, I've was told that it called rose gold color and it has sets of 4 hearts going all around it, (looks like clovers) insided it's got a mark of a circle with an X inside the circle, can anyone tell me what the mark means???? Thank you

The Circle with the X must be the trade mark of the manufactor, you visit your local jewelry store and ask if they may have a trade mark indentifier book. The is no other reason that mark would be stamped there. Most rose gold made long ago was made of 10k gold content.
