Help with ring size for large knuckle
I got a diamond solitaire ring that's size 5.5 that's my wedding ring. I got that size because of my large knuckle. The 5.25 was just too tight to remove without cutting at my skin at the knuckle. But when I wear my ring its often very loose and spins easily (due to the solitaire gem on top).

I got a ring guard that you can adjust the size down after it is on, but it broke soon since I have to remove my ring everyday for work (only a plain metal band is allowed in kitchen as a chef).

I am not sure how to fix this problem. I am thinking to try getting a cheap plain band (sort of like a traditional wedding band) to wear with it to act as a stopper. My solitaire ring is 4.3mm at the top of the shank (2mm at very bottom). And thinking to get a 3mm plain band.

Or do you think I shld resize my solitaire? I'm afraid if I do though, I will have trouble to take off and on esp. when my finger is swelled up.

    Thanks for any advice!!
