Belly Button piercing

hi, well i got my belly pierced 5 days ago and i dont know if its infected.. its really red around the top and bottom...it hurts a little bit.. i dont know if its just irritated...to clean it i use bactrine and a sterile saline solution...help me please! i cant tell if i should clean it more

Mine also got infected when I first got it done. Nothing helped the infection except making a paste from a crushed aspirin & peroxide & applying it 2-3 times/day. I went for a couple months trying other things (even the spray the piercing place gave me) & this mixture took care of it in about 1 week...good luck!!

Mine was really quite redish for the first week or so but it healed up pretty fast.
