Are masturbation and watching porn haraam in Islam?

I wanted to know that is masturbation and watching pornographic movies and pictures haraam in Islam....if it is please provide some quranic verse and proofs..

About masturbation, there is some opposite schools of thought on this my brother. But in general most schools agree that it is indeed haraam. Here is a site that i found for you that may, masha'allah, explain it better than I can.

about pornography, i myself do not believe there is any opposing thoughts on this. It is absolutely Haraam.
