| well my current problem is that my ex hit me while i was holding our 3 week old son, he was arrested for it but denies it, i only have a light bruise but basically his word against mine, my 5 year old son seen this happen but police are likely not to let him give evidence....... luck is never on my side and i feel he will get away with this and i'm going to find it hard to look at him again. i just dont know how to feel. | |

im afraid the only advice i can offer is too post your question in the legal thread,or people and family...
it will be seen be people who have experience in these matters and should be able to offer you advice on your next step.

| Well the main thing, is get a restraining order. DON'T see him again. If you can go to court and testify that it isn't safe for him to be around your 5 yearl old and both of your 3 week old son, Then he might not be able to bother you anymore.
This isn't legal advice, it's just something I think you should look in to. I'm not sure about the laws on this sort of thing but I think you should talk to a Lawyer or someone about this for sure. ScottGem is really good with legal advice. Go to him and see what he has to say on this. I wish you the best of luck! | |
