What are considered normal or safe levels in diastolic and sistolic blood pressure readings? I understand the problems when the sistolic becomes too high, but what can be expected if diastolic becomes too low? (Or is that a problem?)

Hi everyone. I am new to this site. I am enrolled in college, taking an environmental science course. I am a math type person, not science. I tend to get very confused at times with science. I look forward to receiving help when I need it. If there are some questions that I might know the answer to, I will respond. I look forward to getting to know a little more about science and of course, my friends here. Thank you!!
