The long awaited official introduction (yeah, right! lol)

Okay, so I know I intorduced myself when I first came (back in December 2005) but it was just a quick hello. As more and more people have been "re-introducing" themselves to give a bit of a background and qualifications about themselves, I felt that I should do the same.

I am 28 years old. I have worked for a Nationwide Financial Solutions Company for the past 3+ years. We are experts in debt solutions (including debt settlement, credit counseling, debt consolidation loans, bankruptcy, and more), credit, mortgages, budgeting, etc. I did sales for them for the first 2 years and now I do SEO work for our site (Search Engine Optimization). While learning about the SEO world, I am also getting into web design and programming.

I also help my Mother run her Hallmark Store and I bounce at a local bar.

I came from a very religious family and was very involved with the Church for the first half of my Life. My parents are Protestant Christians. My Father is very well educated and big on lecturing (which is where I get my desire to debate!). I spent much of my childhood grounded as I was the youngest, and blackest sheep of my 4 other siblings.

As I grew older, I began to question my beliefs and went in search of my own answers. I studied everything I could get my hands on.... astrology, numerology, taoism, buddhism, tarot, metaphysics, occult, anything I could find. Through it all, I was lead to where I am now. I would be considered more spiritual than religious. I wont go into exactly what my beliefs are here because it would turn into a VERY long post.... lol

Later in Life, I experienced my "Dark Ages" as I refer them. I delved into the deepest, darkest pits on this World and experienced the best and worst that it had to offer. That's all I have to say about that.

I later used my experiences to help others. I became a drug and alcohol counselor for Jr High and High School kids. I really enjoyed it but my philosophy doesnt coinside with the fear-based 12-step philosophy.

I have always believed in learning by experience. And that we have the strength to overcome. This is why I chose to find out for myself, instead of mindlessly believing what I was taught.

Through these times, I married and was blessed with a daughter. I got rid of one but kept the other ( c'mon... Im just kidding) Nicole is 8 years old now and the Love of my Life. Following in a close second is my girlfriend, Shannon.

My current hobbies include snowboarding, wakeboarding, league/tournament bowling, league/tournament pool, softball, dodgeball (league also) and Im a big movie buff.

Well, thats the basics of it, I suppose! Doesnt realy lend me a lot of credibility but I dont claim to be an expert at anything anyway!! I have to say that I have really enjoyed my time here and I dont plan on going anywhere soon! There are a lot of helpful and awesome people here and I am glad that I can participate.

(Oh yeah, DrJizzle.... well, my real name is Jason. My friends always joked about my genius (seriously... stoip laughing lol) and started calling me Doctor or DrJ... which later translated to DrJizzle... so thats the origin of that!)

Tah Tah!!

Yup I'm pretty busy with Noah... he's over a month old already!! Also my 4 and 6 year old adopted niece and nephew are keeping me on my toes. I'm on here practically every day, but usually for only a few minutes at a time, so I only answer a few select posts.
