i am new to this an unsure if i am even submitting this in the right location. please be patient with me. my name is barbara and i am a 51 years old licenced professional clinical counselor. i currently work at a non profit professional counselling facility. i mainly deal with children and adolescents. i also work with families and facilitate group therapy with children in crisis. i have done extensive work in the past with domestic violence and chemical dependency groups, primarily court ordered, and parenting classes. i really enjoy my work.
my name sadiesmom is really about my new puppy (sadie). i have a 22 year old son and he is currently living in overland park with his wife who is pregnant with my first grandbaby. i am very happy about this. right now sadie (my new puppy) is my favorite hobby. i currently live in kentucky but i am from south texas. i miss the beach very much; but, i love the atmosphere here in kentucky. it is so laid back. i think kentucky has me spoiled. it is a very different culture then what i am used to; but, i am enjoying getting used to it. my son and his wife are doing a good job of convincing me to move to kansas however. i mainly dont like the idea of changing jobs because i love my job and the people i work with. they really care about people and doing quality care. i think i am blessed working with the best. but i want to be with my son and grandchild. i found this place by accident...i was searching about pointer dogs and found the ask me site. i thought it was to ask questions about your dog
