since many of us are pounding out qualifications.

degrees in chemistry & biology.

taught chemistry to confused pharmacy, bio, chem students at Drake University for....ummm...lets say 7 years. something like that. most proficient in organic chem. when in doubt about the chemicals that catalyse a reaction on a test, write "*poof*".... poof reagent is not a real answer but it'll make the teacher smile at least while you get an "F".

worked for a manufacturing company that formulates and makes ink for the flexible packaging industry. i know what you're thinking.... that just must make me a chick magnet at parties.

well i met my lovely wife there so "HA!"

and as a father of a 2 year old boy the only parties i go to involve bringing wet wipes and cheerios.

im also the stepfather of a 19 year old daughter. shes as nuts as i am. we're more like brother and sister, and her mother just doesn't get our insane humor and inside jokes. llama llama duck.

six years married to a beautiful italian-american lady who loves to shame boys. she called the president of her company "bunny" once in the middle of a heated discussion. nothing will derail a man's mental process like calling him bunny.... uh, so i've heard. or calling him mr. pi$$ypants. or asking him about his "huffy" bike. it goes on and on...

eight months after my son was born i quit teaching and started chasing him around the house during the day. he's cute, naughty (like his mother), and a huge flirt. we have therefore started a college fund/bail money fund.

got a small candle business we started several years ago and grew through fundraisers at schools and church events. some days it pays the mortgage.

i still tutor confused students in chem mostly. sometimes med school prep. sometimes HS please-help-my-son-graduate tutoring.

what else can i do?

i can juggle three balls, put my leg behind my head, and sing random songs from veggie tales. not all at once, but if i could would THAT make me a chick magnet?? eh. a boy can dream.

nuff for now. maybe ill add more later.

Thanks so much for your advice earlier...I started looking at your about me and thought I'd tell you that you sound like a great person...down to earth I mean. You're smart yet you have balls and a heart. Don't take me the wrong way, I just wanted to say that some of your posts are really well thought out and funny as hell!

Thanks again,
Kris
