Hi, I'm a Brit living in the Netherlands, my interests are the paranormal, cinema, old TV and radio, comedy, cars and motorcycles, British History (esp. WW1 & 2), Belgian beer, DIY and anything creative (esp drawing and writing)

Belgian beer, sounds very good lol mind you I like any kind of beer.

Belgian Beers are the tops! Even standard pils at 5% is excellent and the range (over 100 in one local bar) goes all the way up to 11% which is a brain cell paralyser!
We are already planning for the Brussels Beer Festival which is held in the historic Grote Markt on the first weekend in September, you have chance to sample beers brewed by monks (Trappist) in small batches, which are rich and heavy and will floor you all too easily.
