wanna know the location of the person i am chatting in gtalk!

i want to know whether the person im talking to is really in seoul or not.
although he says seoul, i can't be sure.
is there a way to check whether he's chatting from seoul?
im currently living in myanmar.

There really is no way to know that the person who is chatting is really in Seoul or not. People can say anything that they want to on the Internet as to who they are and where they are. Whether or not they are being truthful or not is something that you cannot know or rely upon. It is an act of faith.

Try to fine the IP Address of the person you are chatting with, the to a google search for WHOIS, from there you can type in the IP Address of the person and it should give you a general description of where this person is located from. Usually works, other WHOIS Sites have maps that show where this IP Address is from or service provider location area.
