Utorrent dowloads have sound but no picture

Hello
I downloaded a movie with Utorrent, and all of the feedback on it from other people was great, but after I downloaded it and opened it with windows media player, only the audio was there, and it was the right audio and everything from the movie, but there was no picutre, just a bunch of wierd colorful swirls...how do I see the video? Am I doing something wrong?
