timeout message?

When I click on some threads, some PMs and even my own sent Pms, it takes approximately forever to open and then I am taken to a page that looks like this:
Error 504 '' Gateway Timeout.
  • Try reloading the Web page.
  • Retype the address in your browser.
  • Check your computer's Internet connection.

This has happened since I joined the forum (about a week ago).

I thought it was my PC, but it only occurs on this site.

I'm baffled. Is anyone out there wise to this issue?

This seems to be an AOL error with resolving the site address.
Have you tried completely clearing out your internet cache (history, temp files, etc) and trying again ?

Yep, just tried that (cleared cache, temp files, cookies and history), then I rebooted and still not able to open some threads.

Weird, eh?
