I have recently downloaded a movie and the advancement bar (the bar that tracks how much of the movie has already been played) advances almost to the end, although the entire movie is there. This means that while I can watch the movie on my computer, and pause it, I cannot stop it and pick up where I left off - I have to start watching the movie at the beginning again. I am guessing ( and this is only a guess) that this might have something to do with compression. I mostly use Realplayer and DivX to watch movies. Is there a way to correct this problem, perhaps a setting I can change? Any help would most certainly be appreciated.
