How to find totally Safe webhosting- full controll

Can anyone recommend me a safe webhosting service where I can outsource the website maintenance work but only give them limited access.
I mean, I do not want my maintenance people to take over my website as my website is gaining popularity and I am getting in bad terms with these people.
Is there any hosting service that lets us create a seperate account for the maintenance people and gives them limited access?
I would really appreciate the response.
Thanks

This site is hosted by Anywherehost. The support at that company is amazing and may be able to accommodate your request.

I use Lunarpages for 10 sites and just love them...but any reputable host will allow you to set access permissions for the folders and files.

Another method might be with the software used for the work: I use Dreamweaver and it has a feature whereby I can give access to certain areas to certain people.

Rely on Popularity, Price and third party reviews do decide on your Host.

Google for
reviews"web hosting" and similar searches, and you'll see a dozen or so at the top of alot of lists.

...just a few things to think about; hope it helps.

The trouble is, if the person doing all of the programing wants, they could always write you out, that is thier profession.

What you need is an contract with a company in writing over control, ownership of material and the such. If you have this high of fear, you may want to use a local company to do the web designing that you can get a written contract with that would be inforceable in local courts.

I agree with the above. If you are worried (and if it's for a business venture anyway) get any agreements on this thing in writing with signatures. It'll make sure you are safe.
