    Printing Emails or Web Pages, Pages of Script Showing
    Whenever I try printing an email or any web page, instead of getting a preview of the text in the email, or text and photos froma web page, all I get is pages and pages of what looks like script.

    I have to copy and paste text from emails or text and pictures from web pages onto a blank word document to be able to print it otherwise I just get multiple pages of things like this:

    <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C/DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN">
    <HTML
    _IE_DisplayURL="http://webmail.aol.com/... and so on

    Is there any settings I am missing that I need to change? I haven't always had this problem, used to be able to print perfectly so there must be something I have changed without realising, but I just don't know what! Please HELP!!

    Give this a try

    1. Go to Control Panel
    2. Click Set Program Access and Defaults
    3. Most likely Custom is selected, click the down arrows off to the right to expand the field. Even if custom is not selected do the same for the field that is selected.
    4. Under choose a default web browser, select Internet Explorer
    5. Then hit Ok

    Now try to print again and see if this helps out

    You might consider HP's Smart WEB Printing (HP Smart Web Printing Software -  Installing the HP Smart Web Printing Software in Microsoft Windows )

    This is a utility that HP gives away that greatly enhances WEB printing. It allows you to select just what part or parts of a page you want to print. You can also select parts of different pages, arrange them on one or more pages and print them together. Its really a great tool.
