Msn Windows Live Msg Error

Hey guys..

I need some help with my msn... its latest version called "windows live"

The only problem i have is that when people try to send msgs to me on msn, i cannot receive them and they cannot send them .. it says something similiar to "This person can not receipt your msg "
The only way i can communicate to people on msn is if i send them a msg first.. then they cane send me msgs.. It really weird and gay... Any help would be deeply appricaited

Reinstall MSn and try again.
Failing that go and get a decent IM program like Trillian.
Multiple platform IM in ONE client.

I used to use trillian but it's rubbish for compatability with the additional msn features

Well Cap, as the OP only mentioned messenges then Trillian will do a good job.
True with other things such as Video and files transfers it's a little flakey.

This is true. A 3rd party client like Trillian does have problems with some of the more advanced features of each IM system. But for someone like me, with several IM accounts, being able to monitor those accounts through ONE client is a godsend.

Oh yes that is granted scott, I used to use it for exactly that reason back when the additional features of each medium werent particularly impressive.

Now I just refuse to talk to people who don't use msn (or have an msn compatible chat medium)
