Internet Explorer Search Bar

I had some spyware on my computer, so I used Ad-aware to quarantine these files... now my search bar in IE won't work. If I type something in to search, it says "this page cannot be displayed" How would I fix this?

LTheobald agrees: Yes - we'll need to know what this search bar is. Chances are that was also some spyware and was disabled.

IE Error

Hi,

Go to Windows Update and download the available updates. Have you checked for viruses? Go to: http://sarc.com/ Scroll down and click on,"Free Online Virus and Security Check" and run the virus check. Write down exactly anything it finds, then return to: http://sarc.com/ and do a search for what was found. Symantec usually has a removal tool and/or directions for removing manually.

Hope this helps!
