Hi,

What exactly are you planning on creating? Would you like to create a few pages about yourself with pictures, etc or are you looking to learn how to code in HTML? If you want to do the former, there is no need to learn HTML, there are many sites that let you create pages without needing any knowledge of HTML. If, however, you want to learn how to create web sites, then I would suggest you start reading a few introductory books on HTML or websites.

Could you be a little more specific? What do you mean by making a tag? What exactly are you trying to do?

Sounds like you have forgotten to close your tags.
Awalys remember once open ALL tags must be closed.
<OPen Tag>
</Closed Tag>

Note to close a tag you need to have a / after the <
