hi i accidently downloaded somesort of active x thing since then i have been stuck with a blank page as my home page and it wont let me change it . cheers

It IS SIMPLY
click on the TOOLS tab. Internet options and change your homepage again

I read it as he/she was not able to change the homepage, this will happens sometimes when you go to tools and the homepage box is greyed out and it does not allow you to change it, the link above will make the homepage box editable again
