URGENT!!! finding area using MATLAB

need URGENT help
my problem is that i have to read in an image which has several circles drawn in it. the area of each circle and hence their radii are to b found and finally a histogram based on the radii data acquired is to b plotted.
help as am unable to find the area of the circles individually...absolutely stuck in the middle of my project
