everything is blocked

Hiya,

I work in an office on switchboard and some nights have to work til 11pm and it is very boring but the internet keeps me occupied! unfortinatley IT have blocked nearly everything on the internet and its so bad now I want to quit my job!!lol!!! does anyone know how to un block certain things or web sites as IT managment are unable to do it for me at the moment!!!

Internet filtering is there for a reason.
If you want it changed you will have to talk to your IT department.

If you do try to get around the blocks that management has put in then you may find you won't have to quit, you'll be fired and for cause so you won't be able to collect unemployment.

The company has put in these controls for security reasons. To attempt to circumvent them would be a violation of their policy and could result in termination.

well no luck!!!! i ask the IT managers evry chance i get an ther jus like no no no!!!! o well guess ill hav 2 start reading
ive jus applied for a new job, not cuz the nets blocked i jus need a change ne ways
