cannot connect to the internet

cannot connect to the internet

when trying to connect to the internet the following error is displayed "dns is unable to resolve ip address".How is this overcome?

On any WEB site or just one? The message means that the web address can't be found in the Domain Name Server. But the reasons could be several.
