As your previous answer stated, re-installing IE6 might do the trick.
Here is another way you can reinstall it:
Go to Start/Find or Search, then type in "ie6setup.exe", without quotes, and click on Go.
When it finds it, left double click on the file, and it will start the Installation Wizard. You might need to be connected to the internet. When a pop-up asks if you want to reinstall it, tell it "yes". You can then click on the "custom" installation, and choose Internet Explorer, if that's all you want to reinstall.
