Iam planning to start online retailing business, I have seen my friends grow in the business, the core of this business is buying the products, retailing it and getting people into the business, I wanted to know what are the skill sets required to this business?

Seems that all you really need is Cash and an internet connection, oh yeah and some customers.

Good telephone skills and excellent salesmanship. The basics of a business such as you describe; but you say your friends are excelling, what kind of sales are the generating and have you 'bought' into their plan?
